The Vicar International school is conveniently situated near the main Kasoa Road and Weija Old Barrier junction and was established on the 9 th January 2007.

The school began with only 9  pupils but now has 200 and is one of  the larger schools in the vicinity. Seven pupils achieved exam results marls with distinction in 2010.

The proprietor of the School Mr Peter Anyetei started the school out of a passion for education.

His aim was to help through learning, ;nurture the possible future leaders of Ghana, and with support and direction from the school teachers,help the children achieve useful skills, learn good manners , discover their talents  to a level worthy of praise .

The school also offers boarding and has the following facilities:

Computer room and library- the school is somewhat progressive having recently introduced the Linux operating system for learning as well as Microsoft Windows; in fact it is probably the first school in Accra to have computers available with the Linux system.

The school Motto is " Brighten your corner" which means that where ever you find yourself you have the educational schooling behind you giving you the potential to reach for the stars.
