The core staff at Nkran.net is a husband and wife team based in London U.K and Accra, Ghana; also we have input from extended Ghanian friends and family.

We have a small development at Aplaku, Weija district, which is on the west side of Accra.Gina has long had a vision to start a women and children charity to help women realize their potential and also to support the education of children. At Aplaku we hope to initiate the vision into a physical reality.

Myself as the chief HTML and web coder I obviously have have an interest in I.C.T otherwise i wouldn't be doing this!

I have helped set up internet access for the immediate local population in Aplaku. I would like to see the services we can offer expanded; also I am loosely involved with the O.L.P.C (one laptop per child) and use of the sugar interace and operating system, which has been specifically designed for children.

I can see that this could be integrated into my wife's vision and it could defiantly enhance children's educational development.

The process of what we want to achieve coould take some time, at present we have no official charity status and don't receive any outside funding. We are however tying to address this issue by contacting Ghana Government Ministers

Mission Statement

Our mission statement as of to day is quite open and unspecific, its simply "we aim to make a positive difference where we can for Ghanaian womens enlightenment and children education".
